For some of you here who like to also sync your google calendar with desktop Outlook, I recommend you guys some Outlook add-in that can do the job. It is called evo collaborator for outlook. you can google it. it will make calendars both on your android phone and outlook on laptop or pc inline. it is pretty productive!

Hammad, you report Google Calendar features to be sync, color coding, and view options. But they all present these basic functions, in addition to other unique offerings. So where did Google Calendar outshine the rest? You mentioned that users can “redirect the location of events from the Google app.”. How does that work?

  7. Faye Gray

Thank you for this article, very useful. I wonder if you can help me regarding the Outlook calendar? I have used this for many years as it has all the functions I require however I have a new phone and although all info has been cloned from my old phone successfully, all the features on calendar have been lost, ie no colour categories, locations, maps, recurring appointments etc, only the basic appointments. There are no options to personalise/change. I am reluctant to change to a new calendar app but really need to have something that can provide all these features. Any advice please?

  8. Peter

It is always interesting to read your reviews. Somehow, I don’t really like to use calendar apps, my calendar is already embedded lol, and I think it’s strange to pay for it. However, the free Weeek.net app helps me to do business.
